Ghee is Great!

For a super simple dinner, I have been pan frying chicken breasts in Ghee.  The magic here is drying the breasts before you put them in the pan.  This cuts down on smoke and gives you a beautiful sear.

  1. Just for reference, the smoke point of ghee is a whopping 482-485 degrees F which makes it great for frying without smoking up the house. It also contains vitamins A, E, and K. Because these are fat-soluble vitamins, and the ghee is providing the fat, people with digestive or intestinal issues like Crohn's, IBS, and leaky gut can absorb them better.
